To me wion is a respectful news outlet but I am sad that many mainstream news channel including wion is becoming biased and losing credibility. She can claimed both ethnicities because she is both Indian and African ancestry aka black. If you had a German mother and Irish father would it be wrong to claim both ? If you were in Germany trying to connect to people there would it be wrong to emphasize your German side to seek a job or a position? If you were in Ireland would it be wrong to use what you have in common with the people there to make your life better?

Diversity is strength not weakness as the right in our country wants peeople to believe. In American history and past laws based on race, if you had any African/black in your body no matter what, you were considered black. Those days are gone, and now you can claim whatever you want, you can honor both of your parents. Trump is an old man from the times when the races were separated by law, you were either black or white, black or indian, black or Asian, but never both!!!
