She’s Jamaican and Indian. But she plays that African American card.

When Kamal won her first Senate race she called herself "The first Indian-American Senator". Remember her father was 1/2 Jamaican and 1/2 White (Irish). So she left that part out of the coversation. Now she is African American.

The lady in blue is not worth to be called a journalist. What a shameful interrogation

Some questions, no matter how disconcerting, need to be asked.

Everybody else is asking the same thing.

Why doesn't anyone question this man's racial identity in this manner?

You cut it off too soon. She wouldn’t let the man answer the question and he said she was asking in a hostile, nasty tone and she was. Should’ve let the clip go another five seconds.

She's brown, not black, so President Trump is correct. How about showing him a bit of respect instead of the continual manufactured outrage.

the woman in blue nearest Trump was rude, did not greet Trump and was openly hostile=a disgrace to actual journalists

She's whatever the votes are. I believe she's 5% Asgardian and 5% Wakandan.

Kamla Harris was raised by an Indian mother for most of her life. Her Jamaican father and mother separated when she was 7 years old and it does not look like she had any contact with her father after the divorce. She had visited India every two years during her childhood and had more exposure to her mother's side in Chennai, India. I would consider her as more Indian than black but for electoral advantage, she took a smart mover to identify with blacks, is it hypocrisy? I don't think so. Think about affirmative action in college admissions.

She’s not African American for sure. Her mother is an Indian, father is Jamaican. But he did not raise her.

Hypothetically if you're pure Irish and you were born in Jamaica, that still doesn't make you a black person.
