The REFRESHED 2020 Honda Civic is hitting dealerships. On the exterior there have been changes made to try to correct some complaints. New wheels and body work are some of the big standouts. Under the hood is the 1.5L turbocharged inline-4 mated to with a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. On inside there are some upgrades including a touchscreen infotainment system, and interior trim pieces. Did Honda take the 2020 Civic Sport Hatchback in the right direction?

2 years with this car
I’m in love with it all stock
Always driven in sport mode
I drive it like I stole it and I’ve had zero problems with it other than the usual maintenance ! 55k miles

Definitely getting one in the future with a 6 speed- I love a manual transmission, they are far more reliable, get better gas mileage, insurance companies love the, and they do really well in ice and snow.

Sometimes I feel like you've read my mind, Joe. I JUST sat in a 2019 Civic today. Much more roomier than I thought it would be. A _very_ nice car and certainly an economical choice.

I love the sportiness of it, even though it isn’t a type R it’s still very sporty and eye catching

That exhaust tip is so much more appealing then the one they put on the si.

Some Japanese automakers tend to overdo things on their design but overall they make great cars for everyone Nice review

2017 civic sport hatchback owner here. It’s been a great little car so far. I love hatchback style it has. It drives fast and gets great mpgs. Best car I’ve owned.

LOVE your reviews but it is nice to start seeing some more BASIC models tested that alot of us can afford and not always the higher more costly models. I have found that even the basic models have everything most of us want and need and don't need all those extras. Would LOVE to see the BASIC new 2020 Civic LX standard tested and the new 2019 Mazda 3 Sport Standard tested. Maybe a side by side comparison which would be the apples and apples comparison.

I like that you show the key differences between this 2020 vs 2019 !

The front lower cover hole is not for air to go in. Its for your horn sound to come out. There is where your horn is.

this is actually no different from the 2017 the one I have, I might have the fake grillz, but basically everything is still the same on the outside💙

did you do a video on the difference between Sport, SI and Sport Touring and if not can you do one?

I had a 2017 civic sport touring and really liked it. I traded it in for a 2019 accord sport 2.0t. I wouldn't go back for anything

Joe, would you be able to review the 2020 civic hatchback sport touring in manual? I’m really liking this refresh, keep up the good work 💪

I don't like the way they changed the fake vents by adding a chunk of red body in it

Pretty sure your quoted 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile times, were from Car and Driver's test of the Si, not the Sport. No way the Sport is doing a 14.6 quarter mile stock.

Your so right so many people in Florida don’t know how to use roundabouts.
