So you interpreted this as advocating for "giving the powerful more power" when (as far as i interpreted it) it's the complete opposite. Everyone with true power in the movie are the people who screwe everything up. So surly the message is 'Don't have the powerful go unchecked. and especially don't have them driven by profit'
