I refuse the believe original ending in the books will be like only winterfell battle. Grrm builds ww’s for so long. He wouldnt destroy them in so short time.

I once read this alternate ending created by a fan. The story even detailed who fought in each location and who, of the main characters, saved themselves or sacrificed themselves so that the others could survive and take refuge further south. I don't know if anyone also read it and has it, since that time I read it I didn't save it :(

Okey, but there are a lots of things to mention:
First, assuming that all continent land is taken and the white walkers can't reach islands, why humanity will starve? There is fish, the Arbor has a fertil land and the island of the summer sea are a good and distance place to end up and, even if all of this fails, there is Essos that have many fertile land and many comercial roads to explote.
Second: the wall, winterfell, the hightower of old town and Storms End may have powerful magic on their walls, hard to take in one year time, and the neck (if fortified) is very much impossible to pass. The Eyrie is mostly impenetrable, and Storms End without a blocked from the sea it's also impregnable and unassailable as well as Casterly Rock.
Even if all this fails or is not useful, the dead army isn't unstoppable: the white walkes can be killed and if his commander slain also will be his soldiers, so is unlikely that it will spread so fast even when the nort is very low populated and the three larges army in Westeros aren't there: the Lannister army, the Riverlands army and the Reach army, not even the crowns army or the Baratheon, only the last of the wall, some noble houses of the nort (that were slain in the war of the five kings) and some of the vale knights (ofc there also is the army of Daenerys)
The Night king might raise as the winer, but its going to passed decades before all men's keeps collapse.

What makes The Others even more OP is being able to revive the dead soldiers they’ve already lost in battle if no one burns them in time.

This would be sooo more interesting than we got from D&D. Because they bring the cold with them, maybe the White Walkers could possibly cross into Essos via an iced over Narrow Sea.

I think you’re underestimating Storms End and Casterly Rock.

Storms end is magically protected and the moment they heard about the fall of winterfell I think several noble houses would flee there instead of kings landing.

As for Casterly Rock GRRM has said it’s literally inside a mountain, I think a small portion of lannisters just isolate for a decade.

Whats happening in the Vale but? A battle at the bloody gate would be sick. Idk if they could breach the eyrie, would probs have to starve them out. Also pretty sure after the north fell every peasant and his dog would be fleeing to essos.
Though tbh i dont think they would make it that far south. Assuming word is spread about fire killing them, every single castle (and theres alot of them) would be a huge ordeal as flaming archers are certainly a thing. Add that with the only way the wights can really breach a castle is to make a corpse pile over the walls
