My friend did her MBA from IIM Vizag and her fixed salary is 16LPA in Mumbai and she is able to give 10k to her mom and 20k for her own savings after loan emi and rent and other expenses.

I was thinking of doing MBA from IIMs....but I got Govt Job... Scale 3 Manager in Regional Rural Bank near to my home....Gross Salary is 1.5 lakh plus....CTC comes around 23 lakh....plus...other benefits like rent paid by bank, Housing Loan of 1 crore, car loan of 20 lakh @ Simple Interest.
Most important: Working hours from 9:45 am to 6pm.


I thus have dropped the idea of doing MBA from IIMs....my Govt job in RRB is much better.

Fixed salary is what matters. These days, companies go to IIMs and offer 40 LPA. Usme 20 LPA esops and variable. I completed my MBA from one of the old IIMs 8 yrs back.

If you struggle after placement then you'll be loan-free in approximately 2 years. Uske baat toh stress bohot kam ho jayega. Corporate world mein dimaag lagaoge toh work experience ko use karke you can upgrade your jobs as well. You'll fly high if you're a IIM/IIT MBA student.

Ye to commen h but 22 lakh in hand pr 1.4-1.5 bhi mile to 50k emi do and 50 on urself and 50K save even one time bonus ko emi ke liye rkh lo and also summer placement ka pesa bhi u have to manage urself even in 50k for yourself u can enjoy

I did bachelors from IIT BHU, no loan, coz fees was close to zero, after scholarship, get placed this year and get in hand salary 1.3 lacs a month, MBA Avi kha se kru?? 🙂

Home loan of 20 lacs for 20 years at 7% is 15k per month. Home loan of 1950000 for 19 years at 7% emi is 15.5K per month

Bhai I am a commerce person, do IIM placement hit big figures only for engineering oriented students or people from commerce can also get same placements (specifically IIM AND TOP B-SCHOOLS ) !!!
