Have an interview today. The hours are just incredible. 3 days on, 4 off. Compared to working 60 hours a week at my other job.

I just started at dc 6064 in Texas in Meat and Produce about 3 weeks ago. I've only been on the floor 2 weeks. I'm 27 and I'm already pulling over 80% pretty easily. It does require quite a bit of heavy lifting but once you get technique down it's not too bad. You just can't waste time doing things. Most importantly stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep so you're muscles can recover faster.

Question, so do you basically just put all the groceries in a box and put the boxes in the truck or do you just put the groceries somewhere and someone picks it up

I'm applying for the one in Cocoa, FL. Does this position allow you to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?

Hey bro so I applied for freight handler I thought it would be manual I don’t want to use the forklift and what is a order picker I didn’t even pass the orientation i failed the test they make you take about the docks 7 times and the head set couldn’t read my voice I wasn’t speaking clearly
Lol but yeah Physically I have but the number to read the number patterns they have to start picking I didn’t get it so they fired me the same day of orientation how do you read the numbers pattern

I worked at the Walmart DC in Texas for 14 years. I was a freezer orderfiller. Pretty demanding job for the body for sure. Paid nice but I was burnt out so I left. Glad I did though lol

So I’m also a temp going for 2 weeks now and already I hate the job. Not only is it overbearing and constant, but the people there only care for production rate. I’m supposed to be in EDC since that was what I applied for. Haven’t been there ONCE since being taken in. Management there feels like you got people who just want to place you in spots other don’t want. Since this is my first job ever, my family thinks that I’m just being unappreciative, but they’ve got no clue since none of them have ever worked like I have. The only reason they want me to stay is because my job pays more then theirs but that’s not worth the injuries and stress. I’m easily stressed by overbearing work like loading up multiple trailers at once. So screw this, better to just quit Sorry for ranting but this is just how I feel

You explain this perfectly. Except the first week of orientations for the most part has nothing to do with perishable side. Which is a wild ride. God bless and god speed to all you boys out in M and P. There is no 7 hour days out in the wild wild west. Regardless, still a great company to work for that provides good benefits and excellent starting wage.
