This is exciting because it was supposed to be launched a long time ago. They delayed so long. My friend who's fighting for his life presently, worked on building pieces on James Webb years ago. I'm glad he's still alive right now to witness this launch

I was in the 4th grade when I first heard of the James Webb, now I'm a grown man. Watching this, staying up till 5 AM watching the entire launch, that gave me the feeling of being a kid reading about any update I could find on the telescope!

So many people saying this 10 billion was a waste of money. We spent a trillion in Afghanistan. The George HW Bush aircraft carrier cost 6.25billion. 10 billion to possibly discover life on other planets is a bargain. I just wonder why we don't have 10 of these telescopes out there!
