very interesting insight. I think a lot of us are embarrassed of our early videos/products etc., but it's all about starting somewhere and getting better at it. Great video bro

My favorite memory is being 16 in 2006 and wanting to record my music, having a tascam 4 track CASSETTE recorder, a radio shack mic, a junior kit, practice amp, and since that 4 track was my only cassette deck I had to BOUNCE MY TRACKS TO A VHS TAPE AND OUTPUT THE VCR BACK INTO THE 4 TRACK to add solos and vocals to my songs. The hiss was real, and things were barely audible. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Amazing observation. I Started back in 2012 when a friend asked me to help with his band's demo. 7 years later I have my home studio doing any kind of projects.

Totally correct mate. That works for musicians who feel their music is not yet perfect to release to the public and they never release anything. Get your music out there, the simple move of releasing something will give you experience you don't even believe.

I laugh so hard at my older mixes, it's truly embarrassing but its only because I see my mistakes...
 Great advice!

All of my the coaches and mentors I’ve worked with say the same thing... “Shoot, fire, aim.” Go for it first and improve along the way. I take these courses because I want to record and release my own music... and my first demos are PATHETIC. But with Jordan’s help and a lot of trial and error... they are actually sounding pretty good. I encourage ANYONE who wants a simple, no nonsense, easy to understand course for tracking, editing and mixing to take Jordan’s courses. They’re inexpensive and make a huge difference.

Hey this is some great advice. Fear of failure is one of the biggest deterrents in life, especially when looking at one's own novice level.

Thanks for your words, man. It's great how you always take some time to encourage us. I've learned so much I can't say.

Great advice. Would like to hear some of your earlier works. Great info as always.

I love what you're saying; to me, a pessimist and an insecure by nature, the biggest worry is for clients to spread bad comments about me if they're not satisfied. Though I guess it might happen regardless of one's skills...

Very good point! I think lots of budding producers are afraid of people seeing their humility. But, the rate of your development is dependent on it being out in the open and not hidden away.

That’s a good one. My first client decided not to work with me any more, but for good reasons. ;-) It’s tough though as no musician is ready to let you practice your craft on his song.
