10 Nordic Secrets To Keep Your Life Calm & Balanced // Life in the Nordic countries is often described as peaceful, balanced, and deeply connected to nature but what’s the real secret behind it? ❄️

In this video, I’m sharing some of the key ideas and practices that make the Nordic lifestyle so unique. These aren’t just personal habits, they’re rooted in the culture, the way society works, and the values that shape everyday life.

One thing I love about the Nordic lifestyle is how it values simplicity and equality. There’s this quiet understanding that you don’t need to prove your worth by showing off or overdoing it. Whether it’s in how people dress, the way homes are designed, or even how free time is spent, there’s a focus on practicality and quality over quantity 😊

The Nordic way of life is about finding peace in the little things, staying connected to nature, and creating a sense of balance that just feels right. This video is for you if you are curious about Nordic culture and minimalism or just looking for fresh ideas to bring more peace into your everyday life. Hope you enjoy! 🙌

America is so loud, fast paced and outrageous nowadays. Your country and your values sound like heaven to me!

Is this video supposed to convince us all to move to Finland? Because it is working.

As an American I love this. I was BORN at odds with my culture: too fast, too loud, too stupid, too in other peoples’ life/space/privacy. I am definitely an introvert. Add odds with modern American life. This sounds heavenly!

I worked in a Finnish home, and one thing i noticed is that your sense of community. People help each other. When someone is sick, others will help making breakfast or do groceries. They are good to each other. Thank you for making this video

As I said in your last video, this sounds so sane and normal. Introvert's Paradise, love that phrase! Seeing people as equal human beings, not just authority figures, how rational. Just love all that way of thinking.

Like my mum used to say: we have all we need and some of what we want.

As a Canadian we have similar values and activities….I love my sauna…the quiet of winter….the laying low and staying humble…..the value of hard work and community. Cheers 🇨🇦

Things I have implemented in my life since listening to your videos.
1.) Become more mindful of what and how much I get at the grocery.
2.) Moved from the largest bedroom in the house to the smallest.
3.) Consistently remind myself to appreciate what I have over accumulate more of what I don't have.
Your advice and tone is well received.

Love it! I grew up next to 600 acre tree farm and they were Finnish. They were the best. Their mother was like our Grandma. Their father was my bus driver. He used to pull the bus over and come get me and put me behind him bc I was often bawling my head off bc I lived in a trauma happening home. And he knew it though he didn’t know the half of it. So that gesture has stuck with me my whole entire life. Finnish people are awesome!

American here; The secret to happiness is learning how to want what you already have.
I’ve always liked minimalism.
I love the “freedom to roam” concept

My parents raised me with similar values. They were both Dr's but I've never heard anyone call them that. We had an apple orchard and my father didn't seem to mind if people picked their own. Society works well when we are able to give freely and receive with gratitude as a posed to the government stealing from us with one hand and creating a feeling of entitlement and dependantcy with the other.

I’ve long been a champion of the Finnish education system, having researched and written on it, and this just further serves as an example of how well children are set up for life in Finland! 🇫🇮 We in the UK have a lot to learn from Finland

"Designing life around enough" hit me as i am waiting for my new bag to arrive now and still has been itching to buy more new bags.
In Islam this concept called zuhud, where you are greateful with what you have and not wanting more.
The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said the best livelihood is the bare minimum.
I know the concept but find it hard quite hard to implement in some area of my life as the tradition of my husband family is minimalist but always have new stuffs (giving away the not so new stuffs to people in need like neighbors or people who come and beg) and my family tradition is keeping what we have and not buying new. I am now keeping the old and always buying new, very bad combination. Still working on decluttering but it gets better.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the reminder. Love the nature.
