a short video on how to remove ceramic wall tiles on a bathroom wall with a paper scraper and a hammer.
i was wearing gloves for a bit of protection from any sharp shards of tile falling on my hand..
i would also recommend wearing some safety goggles as well.

Thanks for showing how to remove tiles without damaging the plaster board. I think that scraper is the best tools to protect the plaster board. I watched someone doing it with a screw driver and left him with a big mess and expensive project. Good one mate.

After I saw this I went ahead and removed the tile walls in my brothers bathroom, even though he wasn't planing on remodeling

I've just bought a new house and have to remove tiles from 1 kitchen, 1 utility room and 3 bathrooms (including 2 showers.) I was a bit worried but your video has been helpful so thank you very much! Looks like I might need some music playing in the background so I don't die of boredom though.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I don't want to buy a tool that I won't be using anymore and I'm only removing one row. Thank you, this is very helpful ;)

Thanks for this vid. It's given me the confidence to remove some tiles from our fire place. There's only about ten to take off but for a first timer it is a bit daunting. Glad I found your video :)

Oh wow, brilliant - this gives a complete beginner like me the confidence to have a go myself rather paying someone else to do it. very helpful - I'm gob-smacked at some of the negative comments, some people really need to get a life !!!!

Really cool! Thank you. I'm buying a house that is very old and has this ugly pink and green bathroom wall tile. And this really helped!

thanks for this. I'm thinking about having my bathroom redone at some point and thought I might do the tile removal myself just so I can minimize the mess and the noise (it's a co-op apartment)

This video was a big help for the project ahead of me. I need to remove old tile that surrounds my tub about half way up the wall. I actually want to use a peel and stick foam tile to replace them. How do you prepare the wall after you remove the tile to do a retile?

Helpful. Could have been very funny if he'd made a few comments, like when he seemed to proudly show an intact tile! The odd 'Voila!' would have just turned it from a diy video to something a bit more viral! Though it was funny hearing him heavy-breathing about 7 tiles in! But at least he doesn't stop every other tile to stand back and admire his handiwork which my partner always does and it drives me mad as it means every tiny job takes 10 times longer than it needs to! Seriously, helpful video for beginners, thanks.

Hello, nice video. May I know if the wall is plasterboard type? If it's so, I'm impressed how cleanly the bolster removes the tiles!

I’m completely mesmerized. Now I’m going to watch it again.

Be careful of older asbestos walls, that pink colour is of concern!

This is an "easy one" to remove.  How about removing glass tile set in a shower with the strongest thin-set mortar on the market?!
