So long as you make these videos I will not fail to learn every single one of the licks

Tip for hooking the viewers more - show off what youre going to teach in the first 20s or less of the video.
Cant wait for more drumming vlogs <3

I enjoy your break down and counting. That's how I learned.

So good! Please do more lesson videos!! Your flow is one of the best of all of the drummers I watch and I want to learn how to play like that!

Glad I subbed man. Very nice. Now in my more advance age, I mean experience I find I have a huge appetite to learn and actually understand these types of things that I've just naturally been able to play on instinct/feel. My hope is that I'll be able to pull these licks off repeatably & consistently from an actual repertoire instead of just a 'feeling' in the moment. SMH. LOL. Keep the sweet science coming.

I can play this up to 120 bpm but I think in order to master this like you said I have to be able to count and know where the 1 is and that for me seems to be the hard part counting not knowing where the one is just counting while playing

The Canadian Group of Seven were pretty good too, albeit a different genre of art.

How does 7 beats work with 4/4 time? 1e and a 2 e and then a 1/16 note rest?

What hihats those? They sound like just what I've been looking for.

I watch your left hand and can’t figure out what you’re doing . . . where I expect to see fingers I don’t? Is it really just wrist speed? I don’t see where you capture rebound wrist is straight no fingers standard grip. Played with many Berkelee grads horns, and guitar players. I was self taught can’t read never mind sight read but worked steady for 40+ years. Just played what I felt not fancy just steady always thought less was more but truthfully I didn’t have more. I really enjoy watching your channel.

Sorry mate, Vinnie colaiuta already destroyed this grouping in 4/4 check out the Brian Eisenberg orchestra recordings. Pretty sure that Austin Burcham covered it on study the greats. Pretty sick lick though

u are dragin the tempo of the fill when u speed up, its very noticeable. maybe u are doin it in a purpose of showing the fill more clear and separated, idk
