Love this concept. It's so important for Americans to understand out history, and a >15 minute video is the perfect way to do so for those claiming history is not "their thing". Thanks for doing this work!

Andrew Jackson bought the land but exchanged land with the natives Americans with the treaty and the government gave them money and resources to move within 2 years. Some did and some chose not to which was the trail of tears.

watching vids about Britain and America's history, bc I have an exam tomorrow about them.
Tbh, I don't think I'll pass it. I'm not an American or a British person, so it's a bit hard to remember all of this infos.
It's my fault, tho. I could've started preparing for the exam a long time ago, but I'm lazy soooo.
Sorry, i just talk too much when I'm anxious.
Btw thank you for the video ♡

Americans have not invented the automobile, nor the internal combustion engine. That was us. Germans. You are welcome.

1:20 the way in which the indigenous population of South America emerged is very confusing and mysterious.
In Chile, skeletons and traces of what corresponds to Australian aboriginal people were found, and in Brazil, the Luzia skeleton was found, which is around 12, 500 or 13, 000 years old, and her cranial morphology indicates that she is very similar to African peoples!

Just to put the record straight ... American inventors created such life changing things as the electric light bulb (nope, that was Volta), the telephone (nope, that was claimed by Alexander Bell but in fact invented by Antonio Meucci), automobile (nope that was Hayden Wischett), the internal combustion engine (nope, that was Samuel Brown), assembly line (ok, that was Henry Ford an American), the teddy bear (nope, that was Richard Steiff and named after an American president), the airplane (the Wright brothers were American but they built on the works of George Cayley an Englishman), the supermarket (by American Clarence Saunders). I am surprised you did not claim Americans invented television, the jet engine, the computer and the enigma machine like most Americans seem to think :-(

I remember what I was taught when I was little and this version is slightly different, and 100 years from now somebody else will have a different View and so on so on it's like playing the game we have 10 people you you whisper something in the first person's ear and see what comes out when the last person to hear it hear it tells you what the first person said

Not only did we skip the expansion from 13 states to 50, but we jumped from Appomattox to Pearl Harbor. The Spanish American War, WWI, Korean War and Viet Nam weren't even mentioned nor was the Cold War itself.

I know that it would've made the video a little longer, but you didn't mention the entirety of the cold war, the hippy counterculture, kent state, or the assassination of malcolm X.
