23 WEEKS BUMP UPDATE! It's SO BIG!!

We had such a fun family day today, starting with some shopping and a visit to B&M. Afterward, we enjoyed a lovely dinner together and wrapped up the day with a special baby update! It’s amazing to see the bump growing—can’t believe we’re already at 23 weeks! So much love, joy, and excitement for our little one. Hi Arabella and family. Hope you all are feeling and doing GREAT. Arabella did a GREAT job putting on her boots. Give her a doll and/or a stuffed animal in place of the dummy. My kids never had a dummy. I never gave them one. To clean the washer, use vinegar. Put a little bit of vinegar and put the washer on as if you would if you were washing clothes and then the washer will be clean. Did Roman get a new toy too? Arabella is so shareful. I think you should ask grandad to fix the ice cream stand. It was so nice to see the baby kick. To save money use some of arabella's old clothes. Im sure they are still in GREAT condition. Sometimes you don't know what you need or you forget what you need until you see it in the store. Lauren, i understand 100% regarding seeing some items and remembering you guys could use it.
Your baby bump looks nice and healthy.

As far as pacifiers and when to stop them is a very difficult decision, and it depends on your child. I knew a lot of parents had/have problems stopping them, so i never let my baby have one. It was difficult at times for her to self soothe. I had to spend a lot of time rocking her. Everything ended up turning out fine by the time she was 12 months. Some parents just have to hang in there until their toddler adjusts. Some for one reason or another take longer and may take time, or they just aren't ready. I've heard from dentists that it may be harded on your childs teeth by prolonging taking the pacifier away while others say permanent teeth may not be affected.
Bottom line, i don't have any words of wisdom since i didn’t start my baby with a pacifier but i did have the extra time to invest in soothing and rocking, etc. Good luck.

Asking Lauren to shop all in one day! That's to taxing on her pregnant body. Take a tape measure. Before you go shopping measure how much room is going to be used in Arabella's room! Making sure Arabella is not feeling pushed out of the room. I think Arabbella's crib might be too big with a changing table and dresser

I would suggest a bassinet in your room for the first for months and a rocking chair!! If Arabella's room has a closet, put two bars up top. One place at the top about a foot below the shelf. The second one a foot and 45 degrees from the first bar. The top is for dresses and tops bottoms . Hang a shoe tree on the bottom bars( one on each side) so girls will have a place for all of the girls shoes!!

Regards to dummy, I think for me (mum of three) it was perseverance. With my third I just didn't bother with one at all. I would go to her room and soothe/settle because coming into mum/dads bed can create another "problem" where the child climbs into parents bed every time they need soothing if that makes sense. Keep doing what you're doing and it will get easier. You can try soothing music and sounds maybe? Cuddly toy? Blankies too. Although i will say, I worked in ealry years before for a few years and there was the odd child with a bkankie in their backpack. Just do whatever you think is best, you're the parents at the end of the day and doing great ❤
