This is the kind of T. rex action we don't get to see. It's not stomping or growling or roaring, it's properly ambushing, sizing its potential prey up and saving energy to strike. This is actually the first time I felt uneasy seeing a T rex encounter in any media. Very well done!

stealthy t rex will always be far scarier than roaring angry t rex, something that gigantic and robust but is also stealthy and as focused and calculating as a bird of prey is terrifying.

Wasn’t expecting a T-Rex to show up halfway through the video. The way how it snuck up on the Quetzalcoatlus was scary.

The tyrannosaurus looked so freaking scary.

I love the twig snap followed by that deep silent sound paired with the knowledge of how close the Tyrannosaurus was.

0:16 I can’t get over how freakin terrifying that is.

That isn’t a T. rex who roars boastfully wanting attention, that is a T. rex that wants to kill you.

Nice really love on how you made the Quetz clack like a Shoebill and the size comparison of it and the Rex absolutely perfect !

Those vibrating sounds from the rex made it 10x more scary. I still like the classic JP roar but that to me is a much more frightening thing to hear.

I felt the immense fear as the Quetz when the camera cuts to the stalking T.rex.

I absolutely adore how the tyrannosaurus doesn't roar at the quetz, but stays as still as possible, like real predators would do when spotted. It's way more unsettling and creepy to me seeing something so big say so still.
Beautiful!

Dude, you did a VERY well job on making these animals. Act like actual animals.
I got more goosebumps just seeing the T. rex stand there, motionless, waiting for the perfect time to strike, more then it just roaring like a mindless monster.

Dude, I don’t know how to differ from any other comment, but this is fire! You literally felt your heart skip a beat when you saw the trex, and the tension was so much! Accurate representation of what a trex and quetzalcoatlus would have behaved like in this situation.

Thus is exactly how i imagine rex acting. No wasted movements. Silent as the night

NICE! I like how the quetzalcoatlus and the tyrannosaurus have a staring contest lol

God, the way the rex puts its foot back down when it was spotted was such a nice little detail

The way the T. rex silently entered is terrifying. Just waiting for its time to strike. That’s perfect horror material.

So beautifully made and visualised, everything from the sound design to the life like movements truly make this a masterpiece of a short.
Well done!

And they said giving it lips made it less scary, it looks scarier with the lips than without them

Imagining something so big somehow sneaking up on you is absolutely terrifying on an instinctual level.
