Actually Quetzalcoatlus and all pterosaurs were related distantly to birds and dinosaurs since both they are all archosaurs

U forget one thing and it’s that while, big, it was very lightweight and iirc even hollow. That’s why finding fossils to these giants are so rare. So yes these did most likely fly or at least glided at far high up distances

Something that automatically makes them the scariest creature ever for me is the fact that evidence suggests the Quetzalcoatlus could run on foot after prey FAST, also you would probably die in its stomach acid from lack of oxygen if it didn't break your neck or something on the way down
