The first plug is the thermocouple for measuring temperature. You have to plug it in the com and the V/Ohms port. Look on the plug, there is a + and - sign. The - is for com.
The two caps are for the plug tips. You need to unscrew the 4mm tips and then you can place these caps on the tips. This is needed when you do measurement in higher CAT ratings or when you measure in difficult narrow situations for not shortening the probes.

oh my god. just watch some multimeter reviews and try again. and don't plug the yellow thing into a power outlet. you will electrocute yourself
