You need to have some next level negative fight IQ to get hit with the same punch 3 times in 4-5 seconds

Tjs iq is overshadowed by the epos but i think he was skilled enough to become champ without it

This is one of my favorite UFC fights ever. It was full of high IQ moments and incredibly masterful kickboxing sequences. And wel... VIOLENCE!
Sick breakdown!!

I would agree, yet it didn't look like Cody was aiming for the open spot at all😅

thats a should roll/philly shel boxing guard, his shoulder prottects him from the cross and the rear hook (closed stance), that side isnt open.

Killashaw killed the man. Didn’t test positive for any fight apart from the cejudo one… can the hate stop from fans? O’Malley popped no one brings that up? Ortega too.

TJ is the CEO of EPO. TJ Killashaw. Snake in the grass.

All the EPO and PED talk aside: The TJ that fought then champion - undefeated in 10yrs Barao- was maybe the most impressive MMA performance I've seen. He was inhuman

Tbh cody just has a right overhand. So tj already knew what to do.

Idk how I didn’t realize this while watching the fight the first time, must’ve not been paying as close attention as I thought. But this guy Cody really got clipped by the exact same counter 3 times in a row, I mean don’t get me wrong in sparring things are happening so fast this is part of the overall training when you’re sparring. You have to try to slow shit down or at least speed up your decision making so you can make good decisions in the moment like TJ is doing.

TJ was smart to reset every time Cody came in, he was coming in wild and not very calculated. Taking a step back to properly assess how he can control Cody’s movements was smart.

Everyone disses TJ at every opportunity, then they fall silent when Anderson Silva has failed double the drug tests TJ has 💀

I'd be more interested in a video about how Tj fooled Usada.

tbh i think cody overly relying on his right hand when he could have at least go for feint takedown to over hand instead.

TJ would have lowered his guard then he could follow up that right hand or even a high kick like carlos condit did on GSP.
