Here’s a couple more I picked up:

1. If someone is driving baseline on you then make sure your body is straddling the baseline. If they go through you it’s a charge, or they’ll back out and have to reset.

2. Always guide the the dribbler towards the help or the out of bounds line. The outbound line is also a defender, use it.

3. Always be moving, the easiest person to defend is the guy that is just standing around.

Stay Focused!

Another underrated one is when on defense, look at the ball handlers eyes, i get plenty of mid-pass steals that way

Last one is all fun and games until one time you get unlucky and the big man decides to dropstep or spin without seeing you and you go for the steal and catch a swinging elbow to the nose or jaw 😅

Keeping them to their bad hand is one of the first things coaches say, and it works wonders for your game, its such an easy thing to know as well, so everyone can use it

just used number 3 man, this tip was so helpful for me. i’m a guard, and this helps so much on fast breaks

#3 is great against a lot of people, but most times when you go to the other side of the body they'll just protect the basket and use the opposite hand to finish. In this case, the guy laying up the ball will just switch the ball to his left and draw a foul.

The thing that I use is I act like I’m not paying attention then I just swipe it for an easy steal 😂

That strong hand tip is good and alot of defenders has done it to me and its annoying if they double one way to get out is in and out and push ur self to get out, or double cross if theres enough space and then squeeze thru.😂

The block one is so useful I blocked my friend 3 times using it while I couldn't block him once before
