About fact #45 : the Scarab is meant to be behind the door you just broke. It seems “melted” because the rest of its body is hidden behind by the doorframe.

My theory is that the Scarab was originally intended as a surprise enemy that could appear behind doors after you force them open, whether randomly or with specific scripted doors. The text “you are greeted by a scarab” implies that it’s an unexpected encounter.

That would explain why we can find a dead Scarab next to Sir Seymour, because it was planned to appear much earlier in the game.

As a German, I just got my British friend to buy the game for me. A lot of games are Banned on Steam over here due to old laws. I think if a game has a certain Tag it just gets Auto-Banned.

If you get Blood golem as a party member via the Isayah glitch, there's tons of fun experiments you can try. He *can* Black orb, for instance, though it's much rarer than in the case of Moonless. This also gives you a couple of new sprites, as BG assumes a profile, Ghoul-like stance when he's about to Black orb. When he actually launches the orb it's another new sprite, making him look Abella-level caked up.

95. In terror and starvation, after the event in which harvestman snatches the girl, and you find her again and defeat the harvestman, the game will say that the girl is crying of joy for rescuing her and you will see how the sprite of the girl change and you can see her kind of tearing up

A little curiosity about the guard that can chase you if you open a door in a specific dungeon map: if you kill him and then open the door, the event can be triggered anyway, and the corpse of the guard will be moved near the door, so we can say he chase you even from the beyond. A real fear and hunger experience.

These things might be virtually useless mechanically but i think they really help to set atmosphere of the dungeon and characters. And some are just Funny lol.

12:34 actually, the scarab was most likely sprited to look like it was in a doorway, with its other limbs and rest of the face hiding behidn the doorway
EDIT: iirc there is also a lord of the flies sprite in the files which is cropped in the shape of a door, so maybe the dev planned to add enemies behind some doors (like the scarab and lord of the flies from the unused sprites) but didnt

When walking very closely behind the ball in the gauntlet, it can kill you. Apparently there is a hitbox that can be triggered when behind it. I felt so dumb when my party died.
