Shoutouts to everyone who doesn't play Fear and Hunger but instead consumes it through Frapollo videos and livestreams!

Yes, because it is the funniest thing to see my friends take the first step into the dungeon for the first time and suffer for the next few hours (True Fear & Hunger experience)

As a person who finished the first game without knowing how to avoid coinflip attacks, I can attest it is totally possible.

In an alternate universe, this video is 2 seconds long and it is just the word "YES" screamed out loud, but this is the better universe, where we can listen to the most powerful gamer in the multiverse.

I came from terrified to addicted to Fear and Hunger so yes this is definitely a should play game. The sheer satisfaction of using the knowledge you gained after countless deaths felt like ascending to godhood.

Also another reason why people should play this is Pinecone Pig :D

As a person who only finished ending E by going around the dungeons for two days of playing, I cry myself to sleep because of my extraordinary lack of direction in RPG games. I get lost in Ma'habre 80% of the time and while I click on every inch of the RPGM map I just cannot find a way to progress in game. I wish I had a Frapollo who would hug me and tell me that everything is going to be okay and guide me while saying that I will make it to the end...

Hell yeah, you should play this game

One of the best things about the game ( even though I won’t play it) is the story and the lore. The gods and such are done so well.

I started playing the series by Termina (due to some youtube shorts showcasing the characters and lore). Loved it, then got the first one too, and in my opinion, the first one feels more fun (although i feel like the second one is a more complete game). The randomness, the harder encounters and the faster experience feel great, and the atmosphere is amazing.

Also, you are the goat, man! I really like your videos, specially the challenge ones!

I recently got this game and started my first run on terror and starvation but even though it's very difficult and unfair it's not impossible, and I've enjoyed every second of it.

As someone who played Fear and Hunger 1 since 2018, yes you should.
If it's not for you, you only lost 5 dollars.
If it is for you, you will have one of the best indie experiences of your lifetime.

With the cc's making this game reach the public to a major degree, i hope steam promotes it this spooky season, make it an indie in the mainstream

I was a heavy dark souls and souls like fan for a long time. Got platinum on almost everygame of that genre... Then i went to Funger 1 and, oh boy, it destroyed me. I spent too long trying to fight the dogs at the begining and, when i finally decided "well they must be like the asylum demon where im suposed to run" i get r-ped by a guard in the first 10 steps inside the dungeon... then i dropped the game.
A year or so later, i see frapollo's videos poping out on my recomended list and some of those gave me motivation to keep trying. Now i finaly did all the normal mode endings and im about to go for the hard mode S endings. Thanks for inspiring me on going through with the torture of that game, i actualy love it now.

I just came from ConnerDawg’s stream on this game. It was so cool having you help him. Subbed 👍

I suggest to beginners to try to play the second game first because its more friendly to newbies and you learn some essential mechanics and its less punishing then try the first game because its not as forgiving, also if you start with the first game you might have a 50% or higher to quit the game because you`ll get pissed off due to the mechanics. Its just my opinion, you cant deny tho that the second game is easier.I recommend to start with the second game personally enjoyed it more(no hate).

As much as I tried, I could not get into F&H1. I love the setting, but I could not avoid getting annoyed with how much I was getting schlacked by every enemy. I could not “git gud”, so to speak.
However, I’m absolutely loving Termina, and I’m finding it a much more forgiving experience for my skill level 😅
So I’ve been consuming F&H1 content through Youtube, while dredging my way through Prehevil myself! It’s a very pleasant experience

My first successful run was a run with Enki for ending A. I will never forget awaking after the fight at the bottom of the dungeon, before the god of fear and hunger, and being instilled with a sense of awe and primal curiosity. It reminded me of one halloween, where we had found a garage filled with a material that hid the depth of the room. To bear witness to it without understanding it would have been madness to me, that is why I needed to enter the garage, I had to make it to the back to know it wasn't endless. I suppose it's a similar curiosity that drives us through these dungeons our first time, we just can't help to bear witness to those horrors without finding the bottom.

My boyfriend says I´ve got a Funger and Frapollo problem.
I´ve been playing both games non-stop yet still watching this video.
But I think "Should you play" is still a very valid question...

I cant believe one could say they played this game without any bugs.
I was so annoyed by the bugs that I had to look around and find your fixes to be able to play it correctly. Thanks bro

Once you start treating it as a game like isaac, you start having fun and trying new things
