For some reason, I'm really into old timey music whenever it's played in a movie, video game, or whatnot. So the music in this teaser, along with their silhouettes slowly moving, and the texts just popping up gives it a cheerful, yet, unsettling feeling to me, and I love it

For all those wondering how this will work as a musical, think along the lines of New York, New York (1977) and Pennies From Heaven (1981). Those two movies are most likely the type of thing this film will aspire to be.

Previously I had doubts about Todd directing a Joker film. However, after watching the first one I really have faith in him and his choices. I know many people are skeptical, and I have some too. But I think he will pull off another wonder. It's an interesting approach compared to the traditional comic-related movies that have been made over and over again.

It’s simply the fact that the first movie was already unsettling yet amazing at the same time and this trailer absolutely captures that same feeling with the music and slow movements, almost like it’s just covering more than it has in store for us and I love it

I think making this movie a musical is actually a great idea since it's true to this Joker's character. Todd Phillips has described this Joker as a guy with "music in his soul". Judging from the end of the first movie, in this movie we'll see Joker fully embracing his insanity as well as the music within him. I highly doubt this will be a High School Musical type deal like some people are making it out to be, I'd imagine that the musical numbers will take place in Joker's head.

I read it's supposed to take place in Arkham..I think it'll be great. Joaquin wouldn't do it if he knew it wouldn't work. He's a brilliant actor, he knows what he's doing. And Todd also knows. 👍🏻💯 Have faith guys I'm sure it'll be good.

This is almost too perfect. Lady Gaga for me is the perfect cast for someone like Harley Quinn.
The first Joker movie always had a very artsy and broadway nature to it. The music was such a powerful element in the first film; as well as Joker’s response to it and his dancing. Very pleased with Mr. Phillip’s decision on making this a musical. I get Bioshock vibes from this. Im so hyped for this movie

Nice teaser...hopefully it turns out great but if the rumors are true and it’s actually a ‘musical’ it is hard to imagine how that would turn out🤔Now if it’s a crazy af rated R ‘musical’ it could be amazing but anything less for a Joker movie would be a disappointment💯

I feel like the joker is gonna commit fully to evil in this one. The red background indicates violence. Coupled with the dancing, the joker is enjoying it. With the wake of school shootings, I feel like people are not going to take this attitude towards evil very lightly, so I am curious about the moral angle of this movie. Eventually, we have to turn our backs against the joker, but when is the question. I feel like this movie will show us a turning point to our sympathies for Arthur. Pretty stoked for it. I've been hoping for a sequel.
