Traded my 2016 SR5 Premium for a 2023 TRD ORP five months ago. I too am old school and like the simplicity of the 5th Gen. $51, 700 after a $3K dealer discount. Many options inclusing KDSS. I love it.

Many 5th gen owners would like it even more primitive.
I do like the new one, it looks great. The drivetrain is used in many models, which is a good sign. I’ll be curious to see if the MTS works better, and the other capabilities are also improved. Would also like to see a head to head with the LandCruiser.

I will take the 2024 4Runner Limited 4WD without any doubt. I would never mess with any 4-banger turbo or hybrid crap.
