There’s a tip too, if you deconstruct the weapon from each ship, you actually get the inverted mirror back, so you only need one inverted to get started

As a returning player, I just found a sentinel ship yesterday and learned to repair it but this farming method is the bomb!!! Great video and now, I won't be so so poor anymore!!! Lol

If you are sure you handle few battles with sentinel ships then you can shoot the "inverted mirrors drilling drones" using your ship and fly around and collect inverted mirrors and echo locators. You will have bunch of them and then you can find more camps which will also give you better chance to obtain storage augmentations for your ship/suite and multitool expansions. By the way if you find small dissonanant moon then the points of interest (camps, drones, sentinel ships) are pretty close to each other there so you have a chance to hit the crashed site even without locator. Edit: augmentations not argumentations lol I should check the typing predictions better next time

Best part about this method is you get the same ship design so you can farm for a good s in a design you like. Like my cockpit with exhaust pipes.

You can build a base with landing pads next to the crash or above it. The ship will mysteriously have a pilot that will appear on the pad and you can buy it from him for free, no brain, mirror or shards required. Fly to the space station, sell it, reload restore on ss then fly back to the base again and the ship will be there again and piolt waiting on pad to give it to you free again. You can do this infinitely. He will fly away if you wait too long, just reload and try again. I've had hit and miss success with base teleports but always best to at least fly in from ss.

Thanks for the video, these ships are new to me (returning player)
But bear in mind, the GTT (galactic trade terminal) should really be avoided IF you plan to reuse the Star System on a semi regular basis
Because, for example every _time_ you sell say an AI Valve to it, it will reduce the price it will pay you for it, because demand goes down as you meet that demand
If you sell 50+ AI Valves to the same GTT, that price will crash significantly
I _believe_ it takes about 2 IRL Weeks to recover from such things

If youre just passing through the system it doesnt really matter
If you want to avoid this Market Adjustment happening entirely, you should either sell to Pilots when they land, or to the shady dude under the stairs

You might want to double check what im saying here, im working off information that was true 18-24 months ago (and was always true prior)
But im 99% sure what im saying is still true
I use the Pilots to sell to
And btw this is also true when selling Activated Indium (or other resources), Chlorine, Cobalt etc), Smuggled Goods, or Trade Goods
You can usually see their % modifier beside the item you are buying or selling

Hope this helps some people, if not you, then maybe a viewer

Ah man. I made a vertical short about this and uploaded about the same time as you!

Great minds think alike!

Pro tips: you can get exo suit upgrades and ship storage upgrades from the harmonic waste that is in the wheel barrows at the base the echo locator takes you too!

Also, once you get a sentinel ship use it to harvest as many inverted mirrors as you need as the sentinels won’t hunt their own ship (at least that’s my experience)

Thank you so much, i spent 6 hours trying to get the pirate ship, only to find out it's not on switch 😅 so i said I'll get a sentinel ship and you've helped me out so much, and the plant I'm farming has Gravitino balls everywhere as well so im set on units forever 😊

New to the game and this video helped extremely. I just found a freighter and the space anomaly and seen people with sentinel ships and now I'm in the verge of finding one

I discovered this when I was doing something and it suggest me to use the echo locator that I magically found god knows where until I found another one on those long things (dissonance resonator). And then when I was pointed to that camp, I instinctively put a marker coz I am very noob in keeping direction IRL, how much more in this game so I left a beacon like what you did about the cheap trick. Coz I did first the looking for ship since it's what amazes me first in this encounter. I left the beacon so I can get back for the multi-tool. Then I realize I still can choose locate ship and boi, I did tried more than 20x on that same camp and had to salvage then sell them until I got the S class. All I want is the S class, the Units are just bonus for me :D

If you have a good enough ship already, just land on a planet, attack a sentinel and then take to orbit. You'll do a few rounds of dogfighting before a Sentinel Capital Ship warps in at the last round. Destroying it always yields an Echo Locator.

You can use your visor scanner to find these too. Much easier than flying around aimlessly. Also, just use your ship to wipe them out, you can wreck multiple of these things in a very short time. 😎

This was EXTREMELY helpful, I had no problem getting 3 Cs and an A so far. I love the color and style, so I'm going to keep the A till I can hopefully find an S. I subscribed.

Viable? Just not bad? This is an excellent credit farm system!
Also gives you chance to catch that S tier class Sentinel ship right?

Thank you for the video, well done and clear!

I have had to kill 24 to find a single echo previously. My best try was 3rd, worst, 24th. I had no idea the spikes could be located multiple times. My easiest methods of farming early to mid are first ancient bones, second merchant trade runs, 3rd rare item assembly. I have never considered farming the ships themselves, so thank you.

It'll always be the same ship each time you farm, however, it goes up a level. I've gotten my sentinel ship up to to A, but not S
