This may be called 'how to get sentinel ships' but it really feels like a journey to self-discovery. Also, I'll be eating a baked potato because I just got my wisdom teeth out and I can't eat anything else.

For anyone wondering as I was confused: In June 2023 "Corrupted Sentinels" --> "Dissonance Detected"

A couple minor notes to make things easier
1. Dissonance Resonators show what they drop if you look at the base of it, so if the one you found doesn't have an echo-locator you can just move on.
2. When hunting sentinel capital ships you can shoot a freighter so you don't have to go to a planet first.
3. You can also shoot space stations which will take you straight to stage four with sentinels, which can save some time, but it can be bugged to where you get attacked by infinite sentinels and it never progresses to stage five. In which case you can fly back into the space station.

So, this is a great informative, and also comedic video, but there's a tip I'd like to add that maybe not a lot of people know about? If you just go to encounter the corrupt sentinels on the planet and battle them till you get all the wanted stars, you'll get a beacon sort of notification where you end up locating a ship automatically. That's without any extra stuff too, no need to hunt down the resonators, though you can do it that way if it's proving difficult to find and keep their attention. I find just powering through the sentinel waves on the planet much easier than doing any of the other methods personally, cuz it leads me directly to a ship.

Also a tip for farming units/ sentinel ships that I have learned somewhere else is that if you have found a harmonic base build your own base next to it or in that base.
You can scan for a new sentinel ship in the camp everytime when you have fixed a new one. Trade the ship in for scraps and then units or keep going for a new ship with a better class !

If you wana make a ridiculous amount of credits then mark the location of the sentinel camp then go fix up the ship, sell it or keep it if it’s good then go back to the camp you marked an it will let you get another one, then repeat the process and you can make 30 mil credits every 15 minutes or so

Tip: If you place a save point in the Harmonic Echo base you can place a base or save point so you can "request" the game to show you another marker to downed sentinel ship. You can skip looking for echo locators that way but you still need harmonic glass for repairs.

Jokes aside, sentinel ships are awesome in both practical and aesthetic way. My first sentinel ship has quad mech-like landing gears which reminds me a Starcraft siege tank.

Btw shoot at a space station to immediately get a level 4 wave and you only have to destroy the dread something something and the rest of the sentinels will leave
