So James May of Top Gear was able to drive across Madagascar in 1960s two-wheel drive track hot rod all he did was he installed Cooper discoverer SST pros. Got them on my Xterra they are beautiful

The AT3 has been discontinued. My wifes yukon denali had a non repairable puncture. Tires were at 13/32. So to match, I bought one on ebay for $100 to replace the bad tire. I have Rugged Trek LT on my Yukon and they are amazing. They have the most amount of siping of any of the Discover series, and that really helps on ice.

I'm thinking about putting the new Discoverer Road+Trail on my Gen 5 4Runner Limited. These seem to be the perfect AT tires for snow-covered roads and some mild/moderate off-roading.

Not mentioned in the vid is the newest Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT…just put a set of 295/70R17’s on my ‘06 Megacab 4x4. They road forced/balanced really good on my factory stock wheels. Great tread pattern, I’d say sits in btwn the AT3 lineup tread and the STT lineup tread. Hopefully I’ll get some longevity out of ‘em, hardly any reviews/vids out yet since a fairly new tire. I’ve got the AT3 4S’s in 255 series on a couple of lifted early 2000’s Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4’s and they’ve held up well and the ride quality is great.

The greatest all around offroad tire for rue weekend warrior and daily driver Cooper stopped making the AT3 in SL rating. I never had a hydroplaning issue in bad summer storms in the south, handled rue trails I went on perfectly, handled a couple nice/snow storms and was great driving through downtown Atlanta soaking up potholes (city trails/asphalt off-roading as I like to characterize them). All other tire brands are either too soft of a compound not suited for daily hwy commutes or are lacking in the offroad arena for my area.

I am thinking about which the right tire is for my 21' Sierra 1500 Denali . AT3 Sport2 or Rugged. In Germany we absolutely need the snowflake symbol for the winter, so unfortunately many tires fall out. I drive the street and off-road alike. I want a comfortable driving on the street / highway at high speed. But I also need grip in the off-road. What would you recommend to me guys?

I like the road and trail but i didn't like the idea of spending so much on them i still went with cooper and bought one of the evolution series tires, not the M/T however. I started to think that the cooper evolution series is discontinued but then yall mentioned the M/T and this video is from this year so..

Bought some wheels with the STT pro tires already on them so I figured I’d leave them on and try it out. They are great in wet conditions and going through high water at speed, and the tread life seems to be pretty good. BUT they are rough on the road, quite loud at hwy speeds and vibrate pretty bad. They do Look great! Not a super comfy ride but if you don’t care then they are a great tire.

What would you tire savants recommend for pavement, dirt, gravel, mud, rocks, and the occasional pile of limbs and wood?

Got the AT34S and they’re not very good on wet pavement. Not impressed

don't buy any cooper tires. tire broke a belt. reached out to cooper they sent me an email saying that there Warranty was 72 months or down to 2/32 tread and I need to take it to a dealer. I took it to the tire shop I got them from they kept it for a week then told me they are not a authorized Cooper dealer so they can't help. emailed back and forth with a cooper dealer for two days they ask me to drop it off. left Work early so I can drop it off with them. They call me to tell me they can't do nothing either. Now I'm gonna have to leave work early again to be able to pick it back up. Their warranty is equivalent to buying tires from a person in a white Van on the side of the street. It would have been better if they were honest to start with about them not doing anything. I wouldn't of wasted 2 weeks of my time.
