2016 Toyota Tacoma A/C Turning Off (With Fix in Description)

***Update***: One of the pins leading to the mag clutch rotation sensor was bent in the connector and not making contact. Connector was located behind the glove compartment. A/C works fine now.

A/C turns off, turn it back on, and it turns off again. Condition occurs when temperature is warm/hot in vehicle. Condition doesn't occur when it is cool like 1st thing in the morning. Manual A/C system. After driving a few miles system goes back to normal and blows cold.

huh oh. I'm about to get one of these. I already ordered it with manual drive. I really hope this isn't a repetitive problem...

Hi I have the same problem,   I just bought the truck 2 months ago and it's in the shop for this did toyota ever resolvce this ?   Carl

My 2007 Tacoma would run cold, but after awhile it would blow warm air and AC light would blink.I replaced the magnet clutch relay switch and an extremely dirty cabin filter. Problem solved.

i have a similar problem but mine doesn't want to turn off. i just want to turn off the compressor and use the blower alone. I press the button and it doesn't turn off.
