Got my updates. How did my results go from 17% Irish to 0%? and 9% Italian to 0%? I dont get it.

My husband used to be 46 percent Spanish, now is only 2 percent. He is Puerto Rican with a Spanish last name. You guys were more accurate the first time. I don't trust these updated results.

My original results matched exactly what I knew about my family history but the new results were so drastic in the wrong direction that I question the accuracy of the new results. I'm all for the latest science but if the new estimate is so vastly different then I'm not sure I can believe these revisions. Especially now that they don't match what I knew of my family history.

I've just done the major update for my results and have very mixed feelings. Intially I thought this is great, the update has resulted in more accurate results. However now I think are these results really anymore accurate? In another two years, will I again have quite different results? Some examples in 2016 I was given the estimate of 28% Western Europe, now in June 2018 the only Western European ancestry I have is 2% France, the remaing percentages have been distributed to countries that make up Great Britian. All of my trace and small percentage gone, I'm no longer have 7% Iberian peninusula ancestry. Now I have a small % of swedish, norwegian ancestry - at least until the next major computer update.

I was 80% German and now I'm 25%. Who am I???

My original results said I was 7% Iberian peninsula, 5% Italian/Greek and only 3% Great Britain. Iberian peninsula and Italian/Greek are completely out the window and now all the sudden I’m 43% Great Britain? Among a few other changes. There’s no way. How could my results be so wrong the first time?

I was wondering how I went from 33% Benin/Togo to 13%. That seems like a helluva revision.

I mean I always took my results with a slight pinch of salt, but my results have changed three/ four times over 18 months and it just makes them meaningless. At first I gained areas, but now I've lost them all again. I know you say they change as you gather more data, but as that's a neverending process the results will constantly change.

okay seriously.... as someone who wants to figure out mysteries about the past, because my grandfather was an orphan in Romania i wanted to find out more to my culture.. i spit in a tube, i am expecting accurate and reliable results the first round! you guys keep changing the data and are confusing everyone! i was told i was 20% spaniard, now i am at 0... 30% greek to 45%, was told i was 10% italian now at 0.... i don’t want to go through every nationality that you guys changed for me and switched percentages because you get the point... there should be no changes like that if your data base is accurate. makes no sense 🙄😑 can i get a refund?

Okay my ethnicity results make a lot more sense than the previous ones but the percentages are off! I previously scored 41% Native American, 15% Iberian Peninsula, and 10% East Asian and now I got 46% Native American, 19% Spanish/2% (2-9%) Basque/1% Portuguese, 12% Chinese/3% Dai. I'm very sure my dad's 8/10 Native American and 1/10 European (Spanish) and my mom's 3/4 European (Spanish) and 1/4 East Asian (Chinese), and there's NO WAY I'm more than 40% Native American, let alone 46% (laughable)! On other tests I scored 36-39% Native American, 37-42% European, and 15-18% East Asian and these results make a lot more sense. I think Ancestry can fix this tiny error by increasing my Basque percentage to 9% and lowering my Native American percentage to 39%. Now that'd make my results "perfectly" spot on. That 7% difference is really disappointing. Plus I'm super sure I'm way more than 2% Basque! Any help is welcomed, thanks!

With the huge changes on my results I wonder if any of their info is correct. How did i go from less than 1% Great Britain to 66%? That is a little far fetched

I’m a black brazilian woman and I was curious to know more about my dna, do I’ve done the test. Since Brazil were colonized by Europeans, I wanted to dig deeper. I have 14 different countries listed in my dna results and some of them is a huge surprise.

My results changed 3 times already and 3 areas were completely erased from my results. I was really exited about doing a ancestry dna Test and I hoped to learn more about myself.

I’ve also planned to visit the countries that was listed in my results (and they are many) but the results keep changing.

Me to, I had native american then it was removed. If, I did not know my family history, I would have be totally mislead by these people.

Change a little bit? Naturally? I went from 0% French to 93% in 1 year. Where is my mother's side? Nothing at all how my family tree looks dating back 7 generations.

I want to know everything you know about me… I don’t want it dwindling down to the fewest amount of regions for the sake of simplicity.. it’s supposed to be messy and complicated. it seems peoples results are being condensed. Why would anyone want that? we want to be able to trace our ancestors..
