YAY! I just got my results back! It was quite different than I expected. I am 56% dog, 24% cat, 12% hamster, and 8% human. My parents said I was "special", but this is an eye opener.

My email said "Want to see what happens to your DNA in the lab?". I really thought that meant the link would take me to an in depth scientific look at what actually happens in the lab. This is just an advertisement for a product I have already purchased. :( Yall should partner with nucleus medical media or someone similar and make a more informative scientific explanation video for those of us that are interested.
In any case... my email said 3-5 more weeks until I get results! I'm really excited! Can't wait to get my results. I'm curious... since I do not know a single thing about my biological paternal grandfather (he's a mystery man) and I don't know much about my biological father can this test help me figure out who the mystery grandfather is? I should have *some* dna from his side shouldn't I?

It is fun to read that I'm not any more eager to learn about my biological heritage than most of your clients. I had both a mother and father who were born to single mothers--one in 1906 in Lithuania, and one in Chicago in 1908. Their births were considered scandalous by their families, and in those days no one told them much about their fathers. So I am really glad I will learn something that may be enlightening. I will be 81 on my next birthday, so I've waited a long time to learn any facts. I did search for my grandfathers some years ago, but it was so long after my parents' births, that their trails had grown cold. I became a psychoanalyst as an adult, in part because of all the mystery in my family background! I am glad I'm able to pursue some factual information.

marjorie Latrell. I was adopted at 3 months and the only record my adoptive parents could obtain was from a doctor who examined me at the time states that I appeared to be 3 months old. No birth certificate or adoption papers were given to my parents - I am now 93 years and still searching only for the nationalities of my birth parens. Now with all of the progress using DNA results I hope to learn something. Thank you for your help..

Hello my name is Misty and I have never meet my father (I'm 52 yrs old) and I need to know my nationality So my wonderful husband Brad surprised me for Christmas and got me the test. So far it's been about 1 month and counting. CAN WAIT TO FINAIL KNOW!!! This is the greatest thing!!!

My parents were born in India but have British ancestry. I have a Scottish surname and I'm white with blue eyes but I have some cousins who are much darker in complexion. I can't wait to see just exactly how Indian or British I truly am! Plus there's my paternal Grandmother who was supposedly Greek or Hungarian!

I sent in my test today. I did it because of a rumour my family wouldn't share with It was Spring 1992; I overheard something my older step-brother n wife laughing with my dad about his hair being jet black and mentioning something about a great grandad or someone being Italian and using the surname of his new wife 'Carter'. My ears pricked up; when I asked what they were talking about, they just and nobody would tell me anything. It's not like I was a snotty faced little 7 year old, I was about 30 yr old!! That afternoons quiet conversation never left me!!!! So, I decided to use the back door and find out once and for all!!Thank God for this brilliant new science, I've waited a long Hahahaha, there might be more surprises than I anticipate 🤣🤣🤣

Mine was sent back February 11, 2017 and I just received an email telling me that they are finally processing it and tomorrow is April 11th! 58 days and holding. Hope to heck the sample is still viable after almost 2 months waiting!

I mailed my kit on November 3rd and Ancestry received it on November 7th. Today is November 12th and I received an email stating my kit has started processing. I am anxious to see my results!
