Orient Electric has launched the Cloud 3, a fan that can bring room temperatures down by 12 degrees!

Dhruv Mohan got an opportunity to experience it. It comes with a water tank that can cool your room for up to 8 hours.

In humid areas like Kerala adding water, at room temperature or warmer, will add to discomfort. Only ice cubes will help.

Those would be ideal for outdoors, and indoors during dry heat, if you keep the windows open. But they’re not ideal indoors during humid weather, and will make the air in your home really wet

basic 5 th std physics in humid place introducing water droplets in the air does not cool or bring down temp. This contraption is useless if you are in any costal area. Best for dry region. In dry area addition of water help in cooling as water takes latent heat and evaporates hence cooling the enclosed space.

Dear sir these water particles will increase the humidity of the room as a result the room temperature will rise. Yes if you sit in front of the fan then you might feel cold due to air flow and water particles spary. I
have an experience of this fan. Just for buisness pl. donot misguide buyers. Thanks.

Avoid any type of machine(ac/cooler/ fan etc) where water is used...because the water that evaporates and mixes with the air & prolonged use may lead to water accumulation in the lungs.
