Story 6: I have been married for 8 years now, and before I confront my husband about big issues like trust and stuff like this, I have to do a self inventory about what my contributions might be that got us there (not blaming myself, but more.. what was in my control vs not) so in trust situations, do I have behaviors that could possibly make him feel unsafe to be honest with me. There are times that I have, because I would have a explosive emotional reaction to things (which I then know it's something to work on with my therapist) and other times I haven't. This has helped confront him with a solution motivation instead of a blind hurt or rage. But this came after a lot of therapy myself to think first and not just jump to reaction
