Story:
When I first met my husband we both recently graduated college and we were living on our own. He was a really charming guy and I started spending more time with him. I found out rather early that he wanted to stay a virgin till he married. It wasn’t out of religion or so, just the way his parents raised him. At this time I had slept with a handful of people, but I didn’t want to lose him, so I ended up lying about it.

We were together and within two years we were both married and have been married for 8 years. Out of all the guys I met he was really smart and socially savvy. He was always the life of the party, a lot of people considered him his close friend, and he was viewed as someone people could confide in. Somehow he found out about my previous partners to this day I still don’t know who tipped him off.

if you start a relationship with a lie, isn't your husband just falling in love with the image of you created from that lie? So when the lie is exposed, isn't it probable that his idea of you might change, and not for the better? By lying you actually never give him a chance to fall for the REAL you. We talk about unconditional love but practically speaking we all have lists in our head for the bare minimum someone needs to have in order for us to be attracted to and eventually fall in love with them. Lies generally aren't sexy lol, or loveable, so you take great risk by creating a foundation of attraction and love based on that. We don't lie for the benefit of others, and she lied because she wanted something/someone and believed this was the only way to get it/him. She did him no favors and her "lies of love" will go unrewarded. Women who plan to lie to get a guy should make sure he is pretty damn gullible or in denial about her, otherwise it will comeback to bite you in the ass sevenfold. She did it on purpose, with planning and with premeditation to deceive him about who she was. She basically destroyed his life and his entire world view. He wanted to be with one woman, who wanted the same kind of marriage and who shared his values. She destroyed that. She killed a large part of his identity. He should have left her the moment he found out and ended all contact except through his lawyer. She still hasn't taken responsibility for her being a lying, deceitful piece of crap. A woman who would destroy a man and lie to her husband. The one man she is supposed to trust with everything and that he was supposed to able to trust in return. She is garbage.
