I've noticed in Japan that the donuts that people tend to go for are considered cake like donuts. However my favorite are the yeast style Donuts because they are so much softer it's almost like the melt in your mouth as you eat them. It's probably why I really enjoy Krispy Kreme, I only ever get it once a year otherwise it would be way too dangerous

Like the day I learned never to order spaghetti at a pizza joint that caters to college students. It had been "refreshed" (precooked hours before and then dipped in hot water) and poorly drained before they dumped some kind of cheap bolognese from a jar on it.

Chocolate Old Fashioned was always my favorite and a Pon de ring because it's their signature and has a delightful chew.

Aww. I actually rather like the ramen at Mister Donut! There's basically no reason to ever order it, but... for a donut shop, it's pretty decent! You should try their "pizzatta" -- legitimately pretty decent pizza, served in a little handheld contraption so you can eat it on the go.
