The Weirdest Restaurant on Earth is Changing the World (50 Courses, $1,000)

It's #8 in the world, but will be #1 in the next few years. It's 2 Michelin stars, but will be 3 Michelin stars very soon. It's my favorite restaurant in the world and it's a wild, incredible, awe-inspiring, shocking, and insane place. They're completely changing what food can be both in the restaurant and in their initiatives outside of the restaurant and I've never seen a place that is more innovative and creative in my life.

This is Alchemist in Copenhagen and you absolutely need to go ❤️

Food looks great, but I think I saw this movie already… I’ll have a cheeseburger to go, thank you very much

At $20 per course, it’s cheaper than most restaurants 💀💀💀

Having an item meant to represent hunger in a resturant where you pay 1000$ for a 50 course meal is a bit ironic lol

Loved having you Michael. Fab video. With little update needed (the vfx studio team consist of five people; Daniela, Kåre, Lars, Frederik and myself). Plus our videographer/photographer (Daniel).

around 7:07 10000% air means that this bread has around 100 times more air than a normal bread. In other words, it's like cotton candy bread

Alchemist's intention is remarkable - the insight to the team in the various fields is just a glimpse of the testament to their output. Thank you for this collab!

You‘re the reason I was there the exact evening you were there the second time. But I was too shy to ask for a picture. Thanks for the good Videos and thanks for the visit

super exquisite restaurants don't change the world, it's cheap food for the masses that does

There's a hilarious irony in having one bit be about surveillance and then shortly after serving you a dish with your face on it that they found online

I'm watching your video while eating instant noodle and trying to be fancy

Ugh, when they mentioned oceans and plastic, my mind immediately went to that horrific plastic island. Seeing it represented in a dish was interesting, and I like the idea of it. Making the plastic edible was interesting, biodegradable plastics are great, but I feel the point would've come across better if the plastic was A) inedible and B) was a bit of a pain for the patron to remove, but worth it for the delicious reward inside after the clean up.

looks like a wholesome version of "The Menu"

It's crazy to think that most people don't consume chicken foot here in India considering it as a waste and like 'poor' people food and it is served as a high class Michelin star dish.

I think it's unfortunate that you condensed such a fascinating topic into only 18 minutes. I would have liked to watch an hour or two of this! It's super interesting, loved the video! (Even though I wished it was longer lol)

People paying $1, 000 to eat the food that Europeans and Americans despise from other cultures, like blood, animal insides, insects, chicken feet. An ironically wonderful video to watch!

loved all of it except for the thought of eating a dead butterfly. cooked or not, i caught them when i was a kid, the same ones as in the vid as i live relatively close to copenhagen, we had the same butterflies. and they are a rare sight now, plus leave a powdery texture from their wings that i wouldnt like to eat. I do love how the chef(s) are trying all new things and having all those initiatives, thought. Very nice to see!
