For insomnia I suggest: 1. Read boring book, 2. Read words of wisdom (Spiritual text of choice), 3. Do full body relaxation and/or breathing techniques. 4. Resist viewing all devices 1 hr before bed.

Some day we will have a medication for every person. I found another video on YouTube about 5-HTP. I decided to take it because I sleep about 3 to 4 hours every night, but not continuously. Not only that, but I also took two 10 mg melatonin pills all together and nothing happened. I was trying to stop Diphenhydramine, which makes me sleep. This medication does not work for me, neither the melatonin. We're different, most people don't drink coffee in the afternoon because it affects sleep pattern, I can drink 500 ml of coffee and sleep right away.

Walnuts have melatonin. peanut butter might give you nightmares. teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in water supposed to help.

How long does it take for it to have an effect on you?
I've read that it works instantly but also that you have to take it for several days/weeks for it to give an effect (similar to ssri's)?
If I wanted to take it the day after a night out to feel a bit more up beat, would it work?

Hello Doctor..I suffer from anxiety and tension when I face a problem. My body trembles, my heartbeat increases, and I feel difficult to speak. . I tried beta-blockers and my condition improved a lot..but I suffer from bronchiectasis and phlegm, which negatively affected my health..Are there nutritional supplements or herbs that work like beta-blockers?

I tried this and i regret doing it. I took one tablet at 9pm, went to bed at 10pm I feel very sleepy my eyes really hurt because i was so tired BUT i could NOT sleep at all. Change position over and over until i finally fall to sleep at 5AM yes 5AM and i had to get up 2h later

! was having restless sleep with anxious dreams.. not deep sleep. I heard this would help. I took one 400mg and slept like a baby. However the next day I had the runs all day. Not touching this stuff again. brutal effect on digestive system
