Soundcore P40i - After One Week

This is a review of the Soundcore P40i earbuds after a week of use.

I just got these. Out of the box they sound great. Very bass heavy tho. A little eq adjustment will fix that. They block a LOT of outside noise & very comfy. I bought the lavender ones cuz they are different & look còol.

Nice and thorough review. I'm a big Soundcore fan but one of my ongoing beefs with them is their choice of default sound setting. I agree its bad and that's pretty consistent across all their products. You definitely need to eq to see what they are capable of. I also have the Soundcore A3I's and they have a better, more balanced sound to me, than this model. But these are good too.
Headphones give you a different experience than earbuds so probably not completely fair to compare the two. Also Apple stuff is way more expensive than these so l feel that these give you very good value for the price tag. And, of course, they have that phone stand feature! Works very well!

Thank you for showing us the speaker "grill." I've bought several buds that only had a thin fabric covering, and those always seem to fall off.

I listen to bass heavy music like hip hop so earbuds capable of heavy bass is a win for me lol. And you cant compare earbuds with over ear headphones.

Good buds! A lot of people say they are bassy..Dont forget smartphones have an Equalizer too. Adjust the bass (and sound) there first! The soundcoreapp does not always overrule the phones eq. (They both work) And thats why its hard to give the perfect eq settings in general. Same reason some say they sound great right out of the box or the opposite.

Is this buds good for work outs, or i should chose something else? I taught about this, Space A40, Liberty 4NC, Huawei freebuds 6i/5i. I used Jabra Elite 4 Active for 'bout 7 months, but recently the right side stoped working.

Sorry if I missed it, but do these have mono audio? Like, you keep one in the case and use one and both left and right channels go to just the bud you are using.
