My daily drivers are the AirPods Pro but when I tried the Sony earbuds I was amazed with the depth & noise cancellation capabilities. For me personally it superseded the AirPods Pro. However, your rankings are accurate! Btw, will be testing the Bose earbuds soon & thanks for the suggestion! 🍻

I bought one of this for 90€. Its really good, the LDAC codecs is amazing for sound quality and the ANC does a great job. This is on par with most earbuds that cost 150€ or more.

These are my first NC buds and to be honest, I'm not impressed at all. What do ppl think wen they say it NC? Do you have to put your music wide open to not hear ? Because I went to the supermarket and I could still here every single thing around me, to ppl talking the cart going over the tiles, even handling a bag of ships.

It’s important to note that sound works on a logarithmic scale, meaning that every 10 db is 10x the volume. Basically, 90 db is 10x louder than 80 db, and 100 db is 100x louder than 80 db, 110 is 1000x 80, and so on. Therefore, the 98.5% of sound is probably correct on a technical level, because when it comes down to taking 100 db down to 98.5% you’ve effectively halved the amount of noise because noise doubles every 3 db or so. As you go up the scale, every db before it means less and less and less.
