I just did a one on one comparison since I have both in ears here. I own a recording studio with plenty of gear to compare and listen to..also needed some loud fun headphones when doing sports since my ears have been tortured by years of long and loud listening sessions.
The P40i's are much (and I mean MUCH) louder and also have more bass to begin with (with exact same soundcore EQ settings, same song, same music player on a Samsung 24 Ultra).
Since I don't care about the ANC, I have not compared it. (when I go running I have the music cranked, so I don't hear any outside noise anyway.)
What I think is better about the 4NC's: The case is higher quality plastic, looks fancier and also lights up inside when the in ears are being put into the case, which looks very cool.
For me though the P40i's are a keeper, just for being much louder. The sound quality regarding soundstage width, crispness etc. is the same to me as the Liberty 4NC'S. Just my honest personal opinion but as always a matter of taste.

Hopefully there'll be a time when spinfit has bulk options for their eartips. I've really been liking their omnis.

Hi I' bought my first ever pair of wireless earbuds the Soundcore A40i to see if I liked them thanks to your review and am thoroughly enjoying them. I was wondering if you know of any other Soundcore earbuds that allow for multiple controls on 1 earbud. As a mom to 2 young children I love the idea of being able to wear only 1 earbud at a time so I can still listen to the baby monitor for example. The only thing with the A40I is it only has single tap, double tap and long tap but more controls (play/pause, volume + and -, previous and next). I read online that the P40I has an extra triple tap option giving one more control but is that the only other earbuds that do this? The user manuals online don't seem to specify. Thanks!

I purchased the P40i yesterday and can tell straight away this is for the BASSHEADS! :D I had previously purchase a DOA pair of P3i's and also tried the soundPEATS Air4 Lite's which were lacking the bass I was looking for. I think the P40i's are the sweet spot - I was also considering the soundPEATS Air4 Pro's.

I saw this in the mall and the price was just right for me. The specs are all good has ANC, pass trough, IPX5, multiple connection, big 11mm drivers, 6 mics, 12 hours playing time and another 60 hours with case, has wireless charging and is from a reputable brand. When I first saw it I was surprised it priced the same with the Soundcore Space A40 which I was really the one I intend to buy or order but they don't have any in stock. I browsed the internet for specs and then had to have an opinion from a reviewer and first on youtube result that was reputable reviewer was you so i watched it while I was in the store I saw that you where happy and specs are are true like what the soundcore website so I bought immediately. The P40is almost the same with the A40 but the playtime is way longer plus the case also provides many more recharge, the IPX rating one higher, has wireless charging and has bigger drivers. I'm at home now playing with it right now while watching your vid for the second time. The P40i is even way better than Galaxy Buds FE I got for free with my Galaxy A55. The P40i is cheaper and offers more almost the level of the Buds 2 Pro, I hope this P40i is of good quality.

@ELJefeReviews Sir I bought Soundcore P40i earbuds. I directly used it without linking to soundcore app, and then sounded awesome. But when I linked them to app, I feel like its sounds quality degraded.. then I switched to Acoustic EQ mode and found that its sound good. And when I turn on ANC feature with soundcore signature sound, I loved the quality. But what I expected of ANC was opposite. I expected that I it will cut off all background noise, but instead I was able to hear human speaking noise, refrigerator noise, washing machine noise, fan noise, birds chirping, ... Does its really only my earbuds fault or not.. please help and guide me 🙏.. thanks.

I just bought the P40i before you started this stream and I hope it was a good decision. My previous earbuds were the P3i and they are the best earbuds I've had, having extremely crisp bass and clear sound. I recently ordered a backup P3i (my current ones are dying of battery life) only to find out that the quality had diminished by a lot, being muddy and washed, which led me to just buying the P40i. I want to believe that my second P3i was a fluke, because I would buy the P3i over and over again if the quality stayed the same. Have you ever bought a second pair of earbuds and saw that the quality diminished, is that just something that happens to products after a few years of manufacturing? Would you say that for a person who likes the P3i, that these P40i are similar or even better than it?

Thanks so much for reviewing these! As you say, Soundcore drops stuff under the radar and then hyper promotes other items! Was interested in hearing about these and you fulfilled that interest! Much appreciated. With the 40 in the title, they are probably meant to be a stem style option in the Space 40 realm. I've reconnected with my Life A2 Nc's lately. They were my first Soundcore earbuds and still hold up really well when connected to my ipad mini🙂
