If you use a Wii Classic Controller you can go back to the main menu by pressing the "Home" button. Which I am not sure if it will work with SNES Classic, but since it worked with NES Classic, I am guessing the controller itself will be compatible and this feature will also be available.

I know people still want to use the SNES controller cause of the nostalgia, and don't want to struggle with having to buy an extra accessory for this, but... just saying!

Thank you for uploading this review to POLYGON and not The Verge. Subscribed & love both channels but this belongs on Polygon.

Looks like you stole a fancy camera and kidnapped the intern from the Verge video team. But you should've kidnapped the set-dresser, too. Just messing with you, keep it up. :)

SNES Classics are everywhere in stores...scalpers need not expect to make much money if at all..hell, even Stevie Wonder can find these systems after launch

Anyone know what game is playing in the outro??? I am pretty sure I used to play that in the arcade when I was kid, and I've been trying to figure out the name for like a decade!

The EU console is way better looking. It'd be nice if they made like 400, 000 more of these.

Better to just get the roms on PC & Emulator then you can get all the games.
Even better if you want this or own one, mod it so it can play every SNES, NES games.
You can even get a usb mod that allows you to run PSP off it as well.

They ceased production of the NES because they undercut the price. They knew that they could jack up the price on the SNES, so they stopped production very soon in order to produce a higher profit margin product using the same hardware. The SNES will recoup their losses from the NES. This is why production of the NES will be reintroduced. Most likely with a higher price tag, two controllers, and longer cords.
