Nice shoutout on Codecks - I've literally just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to add a new "Status" to my board on Notion, to the point of just reverting back to Trello for ease of use, but I will checkout your sponsor today before I do.

Every time I see something about this game looks better than the last time, can't wait to play it. I love the art style and the sound effects

I watch all of your videos as they come out and you seem like such a great dude with a great life. I really hope the journey goes well for you.

I shouted you out as inspiration in my most recent video as well, because you have definitely contributed to my motivation to start the games dev journey.

All the best and looking forward to Samurado!

Really love these style of devlogs. Great work on the video front and the game dev side of things! Looking forward to the next one already. Also, Codecks looks pretty cool...I might give it a go, but I'll need to carve out time in order to transfer all of my tasks from Trello to it. Which I think has been one of the biggest reasons why I haven't moved from Trello lol

It would be too weird for me to set up a camera and film at an elementary school.

Я как раз искал новый инструмент для управления проектами, спасибо за Кодекс! То недавно мою учётную запись в Трелло аннулировали Т_Т, так как я из России.

That was a burrito not a taco. My wife would freak out if she saw that!

Great video, Brandon!

Do you use in-built Unity animation tools only? Or some assets? In your previous video you told about Animancer, I was wondering if you use it.

Also, is Mecanim that bad for animation set-up in Unity, as they tell you in Animancer reviews? I'm only beginning the game dev, so would love to know if I should buy Animancer or learn Mecanim and built-in tools first.

My game is a 2.5D, with 3D assets and animation style like NES, with less frames and strong jey poses.

I LOVE the new goblins, but just a rando 2 cents from a rando: I'm going to find a hard time killing a design like that because I want them to be good guys 😆 They're a family, the ear twitches on idle are adorable, they're just great designs. I just dunno if I want to kill them. Either way great job and I can't wait to play your game regardless

This was a great watch. I am genuinely curious what it’s like balancing game dev, with doing “this”. Are you at the point where it’s become viable?

Enjoyed this sneak peak into the indie dev scene. I've started my game dev journey a few months ago and it's very exhilarating ... that said, is this your full time jobs? I couldn't imagine being able to do this fulltime, are there any major struggles with this work/life balance?
