What to Do This Summer

Please make sure though that y’all still have fun in high school. I hated high school because I was bullied through half of it, but it’s really the home stretch before you have to enter the adult world. Do academically based activities if you find those fun, but also don’t work so hard that you have nothing to show as a well rounded person.

As a speedcuber everyone says that you can solve a cube with a smart IQ, but really you have to put in the effort of memorizing patterns and being faster than your last solve. Neither does mixing the cube for an hour makes it “harder to solve” rather you can just put in 20 algorithms so fully solve the cube.

This is a great and easy activity. I do it myself. Its a food drive where people leave food on their front step, and you pick it up(I recommend you pick it up the next saturday at 10am). You can say you started and executed a food drive with leadershihp and Yada yada.

1. Create a fly with description instructions, phone number, and the food is going.

2. Go from house to house handing out the flyer.(do it face to face, people won't give food just because a fly said so.)

3. Mark the houses you visit

4. Go to said house remove expired food and then donate the food.

I have an idea as well, maybe you could ask your parents or any friends to remind you and if you don’t do it in less than 1 minute they will wake you up/ take away your device/ help you finish what your doing (depends on what your doing), I did this when I was in primary school and it worked really well for me cause I had a lot of summer holiday homework so ya-
