You can sanctions Russia but you cannot sanction winter.

What they neglect to say: even if alternative energy sources are found, which is unlikely, other sources will be 3-5X more expensive, than cheap, readily-available, Russian gas and oil, good luck with that!

Russian didn't say it will stop gas ⛽to European Union at the beginning, it's EUROPEAN who boycotted Russian oils... Now don't blame Russia

West use currency as weapon, Russia use energy as weapon.

This strategy was well thought by Putin. He also planned retaliation measures and knew he would squeeze their throats at the right time, while EU leaders believed that they could impose sanctions on Russia without suffering consequences. But now, it looks like Europeans will have to deal with a bitter industrial downfall.

This is probably when Europe will realize that it is not practical or easy to dance to the American tune and go against Russia. Europe even to this day depends largely on Russian gas.

For the first time in my life i felt so happy for not being in Europe and US. I used to wished to be born in US or Europe. But now... I am grateful. Thanks to Russia 🇷🇺 for opening my eyes.

Why are EU, champion of sanctions, 8s crying when Russia respond to their sanctions?

Russian FM Lavrov met OPEC members in his visit to gulf, and they have assured that they wont be increasing the oil production at all. No Matter what the west says, Borris jhonson had a failed visit to saudi last month.
EU will submit to russia, they have no other choice in the long run. Just by the fall of winters they all will come to their senses.

Europe is playing with fire. It’s biting the hand that feeds it with gaz and LNG. The EU must seriously negotiate and alleviate Russian paranoia about potential US and NATO existential threats.

EU Struggles to admit defeat. Countries are sharing the gas to Bulgaria and maybe Poland, but they share the gas they buy in Rubles from Russia. The Ruble has hit all time high and EU citizens are seeing shortages and recession similar to WW2. Who is imposing sanctions to whom, I would ask ?

Ukraine turned off the gas supply to the EU on Wednesday. Russia hasn't turned off the gas to any country which complied with the new payment system.

The EU wants to break Russia! They are not bothered about their own people. I wish them nothing but suffering and endless pain.

Other nations will buy from Russia and sell it back to the EU for 10 times the price 🥴

Diversifying supplies means Europeans are going to pay unbelievably high prices for gas

It won’t be long before it will be Europe break up and every country for its self .. it’s terrible to see such an example of brilliant people being lead by poor leadership

If Russia is suffering it'll make sure that those who consume it's cheap energy and gas must also suffer
It doesn't matter how big the economy or purchasing power or of an economy is
If it has to pay higher for the same product
It won't be able to sustain it

Putin is being nice. He could allow gas supplies for a few months, then suddenly shut off when winter arrives.
