Is this new or the same old problem repackaged by the media? it sounds like they left out how Hungary and Poland are any worse off with the veto now then a week ago, the EU can't do anything with Hungary and Poland both doing the veto, the EU thinks they have Hungary and Poland by the balls but it's the other way around. EU cut out the vague language about rule of law and be specific with what you want exactly, or continue to get no progress.

What I understand it is about linking the rule of law mechanism with funds.

But the rule of law can be freely interpreted by governments and organizations wishing to force their left-wing agenda and making it universal for the whole of Europe.

Joseph in the cistern? Oh, no! Joseph on the roof-gutter ! Sure, spend even more money for the Eastern European regime! They are not finished yet with the professional restructuring of Western Europa.

Good, this money could be used to help deal with migrant issue in EU, Poland and Hungary never had to deal with those nations, both in the colonial time or now.
