I used to live and work as a hairstylist near a port and had quite a few clients that had 12 months contracts. I was always sad when their contract ended and had to day goodbye.
Every cruise ship employee i worked with were the nicest people.

I used to have an office near a famous port and it was absolutely amazing how many kids would come in looking for a job, any job, as soon as a cruise shop would pull into port. They would be begging me to help them to just get off the ship and start working a nice civilised job in a civilised place. They all hated it.

I worked 18 month on 2 different Cruise ships before Corona Started, , IT was hard Work but every evening was like a big party, cheers Nadine ❤❤❤

Maybe I’m just underrating costs, but her Japan trip is $3, 500 which doesn’t include flights and is only 7 days. Seems like a ripoff to me.

Yes the allure of being in an exotic country is intoxicating and hard to resist. Back when I was in the navy I was in the same mind set as you are. However, you’re very fortunate, because you have the benefit of all the available tech devices to aid you with many obstacles that I had to deal with and due to time constraints couldn’t over come them. A friend of mine did the same journey to Thailand on solo trek as well. So make copies of all you identification documents, and keep the originals safe and only give the copies. Never give you passport to anyone. Sure get it stamped, but get it back. Oh a girl traveling in the US has a satellite gps device she uses to let her people know her gps coordinates on a nightly basis.
