For the people who think that this is the norm on the ship, it isn't. She's part of the lucky 5% (I'm sure she worked hard to be there cause she had to go through casting to get her position) who actually get to enjoy life at sea. Working in the theater (She's probably a dancer/singer), has a lot of perks. High pay, plenty of time off around the ship and in ports. They don't work every day, which most crew does, with no days off for 6-8months. At the end of the day everyone chooses what to do on board, but most crew doesn't get to enjoy ship life as she does.

For those who are considering doing this, working on a cruise ship is not for most people. You’ll work 7 days a week, no days off, long hours (typically 4:30am to 7/8pm), you live in close quarters where you have to decide if the AC/Heater is going to be running hot or running cold with roommates who have different preferences than you), and if you get sick, you kind of just have to deal with it as quickly as possible with minimal time off. Plus you have the whole Covid BS you have to deal with.
