How to Make a Catch Game in Scratch | Tutorial

Let’s make a Catch Game in Scratch! With this tutorial, you’ll be able to make a game where objects are falling from the sky, and you catch them to score points.

Try it out:

You get to choose your falling object, choose the object or character that’s catching it, and choose your background. What kind of game will you make?

To add some flare and difficulty to the game, make a new variable called "gravity", in all of the parts that return the object to the top, add a "set gravity to 0". In the movement script, put the gravity variable in the "change y by ()", making it "change y by ((gravity))". After the change y, put a "change gravity by (-1).

If you want to, where you have the if y position is 180 and the of touching bowl you can put a switch costume to pick random 1 to (amount of costumes) and add more costumes to make it something different each time.
