11:56 yep, if gonna do pre-made panels, this tip is certainly the way to go; as you’ll get not just a better looking fence, but it will go to together and add some support as well.
For a box pre-built…..he did a good job, looks nice, and that’s a key component in setting fencing, besides being functional etc…

Great video joe always enjoy the reaction videos and agree that looks like some good ground where you can hand pound that smooth 👍

Yes I agree if panels are built in place you can build to slope rather then step down the post.

I've been building fences about 3 years now I stick build and panel build when you panel build you can get way more than just a slight rack out of them if you do it the right way I can go up and down slopes and you can't tell if it's stick built or panel built

Hey Joe! Love your content! I have noticed in some of your gate videos where the fence is built with postmaster posts, the gate has Schedule 40 steel posts also. Are they close to the post master post? I'd love to see it up close if possible? It almost looks like it's set in the same concrete. Just having a hard time picturing how to fit them in the line for the gate.

0:59 Had a fence company here in FL go to my sisters house for a quote, as I’m in construction/trades (not feeling well and she didn’t want me to bother installing 127 linear feet of fence, I thank her, lol. But the 1 company that came out when I was asking questions w/ my sister, I asked what thickness of pickets use, supplier, how gonna “slope” as hard as aggressive grade changes, and this company uses pre-made panels. They just come and install 4x and hang the panels….I asked about stair step affect (effect 🤔, oh I don’t care) and they said yeah, gonna have it. Than asked about a remainder or blend, well, pre-made means remainder and we passed on that company as couldn’t tell thickness of pickets, when did txt w/ answer….they were 3/8”. Not for me, sorry. (Btw, they using 1x3 for rails and these are pro pre-made and not from box store)¹
Also hate installing pre-made b/c will never go as “easy” as ppl think; especially when buying from box stores, nope, never. Plus box stores 2x4 rails are 1.25x2.50 in size….not a fan (last time checked that was numbers).
Thx Joe for a great vid, enjoy these reaction vids and day in the life!
✌🏻

Hey boss, doing a diy. I’m no pro. But i have a question . I’m installing 8x6 pre made fence panels onto 4x4 wood posts . What screws or nails do I use to attach the panel to the posts ? I don’t have a nail gun.

Don’t tell Caleb Roth that he said it doesn’t need to be stained.
