ok dammit this is by far the best pizzeria in brooklyn and probably NYC I miss it way too much I beg you to please let me order one in winter Ill pay anything and buy as many as you want just to be able to have a sicilian pies or more and a round napolitano or more just once more I am in Fl and disabled so I cant get there or I would just for your great pizza

Some people say Dr Fara on Avenue J in Brooklyn is the best pizza so I tried it TWICE. Twice I was disappointed with the bland flavored dry pizza. I LOVE Di Fara, I think their square is truly the BEST pizza I ever ate. Di Fara is garbage pizza compared to L & B Spumoni Garden square slice.

As a 30 year old lifelong New Yorker from Queens, L&B's squares are extremely overrated. I went back multiple times hoping I just got a bad slice in the past but every time it was just extremely mediocre pizza. My father is in his 60s and from the Bronx and feels the same. I feel like almost all the most famous pizza places in NYC tend to be overhyped. The best are always the ones you've never heard of unless you grew up in the area. It's just like the most famous cheesesteak places in Philly don't compare to some lesser known ones too.
