Imagine you're some dude who buys a house out in the middle of nowhere, then Mark just shows up one night, breaks into your house and starts rummaging through all of your rooms and drawers, all the while insulting you.

One of the more impressive things to be about Mark's vast experience with horror games is his ability to immediately identify something as a threat or just an ambient scare. If it can hurt him, he runs the fuck away. If it can't, he face-checks it almost without fail.

I started watching it and the food theory theme started playing when he was talking to Lixian at the beginning with the "It's not me." and I was so confused and then it was even better because when Mark started to slowly turn around MatPat started talking and then I realized that it was playing from another tab. The greatest experience ever.

I feel like the sheer silence, no ambiance, no music, when Mark was saying the jumpscares are about to happen was scarier than the actual jumpscares
