'Ireland won't underestimate Canada'
Показать описание
Ireland assistant coach Les Kiss and Canada head coach Kieran Crowley preview Saturday's Rugby World Cup match at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
SOUNDBITE (English) Les Kiss, Ireland defensive coach:
"When we arrived her we've had a good think about things and we feel we're in a pretty good place. It's a tournament not to take lightly at any time and we know that Canada will load up for this first game. The thing to remember about Canada is they've been together probably seven or eight games now, they've had a fairly long build-up. Kieran Crowley (Canada coach) has been there for a fair while. We've done a fair bit of work on what we're expecting they would deliver against us so hopefully we're in front of it."
SOUNDBITE (English) Kieran Crowley, Canada coach:
"That's the ultimate, you don't go out there trying to keep the score down or anything like that. Obviously they are huge favourites, we've done all our prep, we've worked hard during our build-up. We've focus on areas and we'll go out there and we'll give it a hell of a crack and then we'll analyse it at the end of the game and you decide then if it's a success. I don't think you can say that if you keep the score to a certain one or if you lose close or even if you win sometimes it's been a success. It's about process, about performance, that's a old adage but you know, we're not going out there to make up the numbers."
